The University of Akron Challenge X team thanks General Motors for donating over $6,500 to the team for travel to this year's competition in Arizona.  The team's GM Mentor, Scott Otterson, visited campus on Monday to present the check to the team.  Notable attendees included the University's President, Dr. Luis Proenza, as well as the Dean of College of Engineering, Dr. George Haritos.
